Turn a photo into a jigsaw puzzle

Your dog, last summer's trip, a wedding photo, a team picture. Upload it, pick how many pieces, and solve it yourself or send it to someone to solve with you.

Why sign in for photos? Uploaded pictures are stored so your friend's board can load the same image, and that storage needs an owner. Signing in is one tap with Google. Everything else, including solo, the daily puzzle and rooms, works without an account.

Which photos make good puzzles

The best puzzle photos have a mix of detail and color, so every area gives you something to match. Some examples of what works well:

Very plain photos, such as a white wall or a clear blue sky, are much harder, which can be the point if you want a challenge. The puzzle is cropped to the grid's shape from the center of your picture, so keep the important part near the middle.

File types and limits

Any photo your browser can open works, including pictures straight from a phone camera. It's resized on your device before uploading, so big files are fine and uploads stay quick. You can upload up to 30 photos a day.

Sending a photo puzzle to someone

A photo puzzle makes a small, personal gift: a picture from a trip you took together, a new baby, or an old family photo for a grandparent. Create a room with the photo, send the invite link, and solve it together while you talk, or let them start and join in later. The room saves progress, so it can be a puzzle you chip away at over a few days.

Who can see your photos

Your photo is only loaded by puzzles that use it. It's stored with Cloudflare, the service that runs the game's servers, at an address that can't be guessed, and it isn't listed or shown anywhere public. Only people you send a room link to see it. Read the privacy page for the details, including how to have photos deleted.
