Multiplayer jigsaw puzzles, live in your browser

Two players, one board, both moving pieces at the same moment. It's a co-op jigsaw where nobody waits for their turn.

Live co-op, not taking turns

Many "multiplayer" jigsaw games are really a shared save: one person moves a piece, then the other sees it a moment later, or you take turns. Puzzled Together keeps both players on one live board. When your friend picks up a piece you see it lift, follow their drag, and snap into place on your screen in real time.

That changes how a puzzle feels. You can split the work ("you do the border, I'll sort the reds"), work on the same corner, or hand a group of pieces across the table by dragging it to where your friend is building.

How the shared board works

Everyone sees the same cut

Both players get the identical puzzle: the same picture, the same piece shapes, and the same starting scatter. The room host picks the size and deals, and the board is built from a shared seed so it comes out pixel-for-pixel the same on both screens, even when one of you is on a phone and the other on a big monitor.

You can see who's holding what

Your friend's cursor shows on the board. When they grab a piece, a pink outline appears around it, so you know to leave that one alone. Every move is relayed as it happens, not just when the piece is dropped.

Snapped groups belong to both of you

When two pieces fit, they lock together into a group. Either player can move a group by grabbing any piece in it, and the group stays together on both boards.

The room remembers the game

The board is saved on the server as you play. Close the tab, lose signal, or stop for dinner. When either of you reopens the invite link, the pieces are where you left them, and the clock doesn't count the time the room sat empty.

Sizes and difficulty

PiecesLevelWhat to expect together
12EasyA couple of minutes. Good for trying the co-op out.
24MediumA relaxed game while you talk.
96HardDetailed photos with lots of similar pieces. Splitting up really helps.
384ExpertAn evening's work, or several sittings.
1,500MasterA long-running shared project.

12 and 24 pieces are open from the start. Bigger sizes unlock as you level up by finishing puzzles. In a room, the host's size is the one you play.

Scores and times for a pair

Each solve is timed on the server from the moment the puzzle is dealt, not counting time the room was empty. Signed-in players get the solve on their profile with XP and coins; co-op solves earn a bonus over solo. If you played as a guest, you can sign in on the win screen and the solve is saved to your new account.

Questions about multiplayer

How many players can join?

Two per room. It keeps the board readable and the pieces within reach for both of you.

Do we need to be on the same kind of device?

No. Phones, tablets and computers all play together. The board scales to each screen while the pieces stay in the same place in the puzzle.

Can the second player start a new puzzle?

The host starts each puzzle and picks its size. If the host leaves, the other player becomes host.

Is there voice chat?

No, and you won't miss it: most pairs play while on a call. See games to play on a video call.
