About Puzzled Together
A free web game for doing a jigsaw puzzle with someone who isn't in the same room.
Why it exists
Doing a jigsaw together is one of the easiest ways to spend time with someone: your hands are busy, nobody has to win, and the conversation wanders. We wanted that for friends, couples and families who live apart, without anyone installing an app, making an account, or paying.
So Puzzled Together is a single link. One person makes a room, the other opens the link, and they're on the same board, moving pieces at the same time.
What we care about
- Free, with no ads. Every mode and every puzzle size.
- Play first, sign in later. You can play solo, the daily puzzle and rooms as a guest. An account only adds saving: your times, streak, levels and photo puzzles.
- Collect as little as possible. No ad trackers and no selling data. The privacy page lists exactly what's stored.
- Works on what you have. Phones, tablets and computers, in the browser.
Who makes it
Puzzled Together is built and run by an independent developer, not a big studio. It started in August 2026 and is being improved every week based on what players say. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, tell us. It genuinely changes what gets built next.
How it's built
The site is a lightweight web app. Each room runs on Cloudflare's network and relays every piece move between the two players the moment it happens, and saves the board so you can come back to it later. The jigsaw pieces are drawn with the open-source headbreaker library, and the puzzle pictures come from Lorem Picsum or your own photos.
A note on the name
We're Puzzled Together at puzzledtogether.app. We're not connected to "Puzzle Together", a separate multiplayer jigsaw app on Steam and the app stores.
Come puzzle
